Everton and Newcastle United target Adrien Rabiot will be made available by Juventus in the summer, according to reports.
Rabiot has struggled for form in recent months for the Italian giants. Despite this, the French midfielder has still been an important player for the Old lady, making 38 appearances across all competitions. However, it now seems Juventus are preparing to move on, with England a possible next destination for Rabiot.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus are prepared to listen to offers for his services once the transfer window opens.
This is positive news for Everton and Newcastle fans, with both clubs being linked to Rabiot recently.
Everton first expressed an interest when Carlo Ancelotti was manager of the club. The Toffees have also made contact with Juventus over Rabiot’s transfer status in recent months.
Despite this, Newcastle are reportedly favourites to land the star in the summer. With another season inside the top-flight now looking likely, the Saudi-backed owners will be hopeful Newcastle can attract some top talent for the next campaign.
Since his 2019 move from Paris Saint-Germain, the 27-year-old has struggled for consistency in his performances.
Rabiot also has just over a year left on his contract, and the recent reports suggest it is unlikely he will be signing a new deal.
