Following a good run of late, the predicted Chelsea team to face Brentford is expected to see star player Reece James return to the fold.
Chelsea have been in solid form in all competitions recently. They have not lost in the Premier League since the defeat to Manchester City in January.
The Blues have advanced to the next round of the Champions League, and they are third in the Premier League. Thomas Tuchel’s side have been without star player James since the 4-0 win over Burnley at the beginning of March, in which he both scored and assisted.
They have won four games since then, though. They beat Norwich City and Newcastle United in the league, as well as prevailing over Lille in the Champions League, and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
Furthermore, it looks as if Chelsea will be boosted by the return of James, as per Tuchel’s pre-match press conference.
Given Chelsea have been in form in James’ absence, they could be even stronger upon his return.

Edouard Mendy played in net, the full-back positions were filled by Cesar Azpilicueta and Malang Sarr.
Antonio Rudiger partnered with Thiago Silva at centre-back.
The holding-midfield positions were occupied by Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mateo Kovacic.
Goalscorer Hakim Ziyech played with Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic behind the striker. Romelu Lukaku started up front, and got his name on the scoresheet.
