KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University at Albany senior Austin DaSilva has been named United Soccer Coaches All-Northeast Region Second Team.
DaSilva, a forward from Brookfield, Conn., led UAlbany with five assists in 2021, a total that ranked tied for ninth in the America East. His seven total points ranked third on the team, and his lone goal was the game-winner in overtime against Rhode Island.
Appearing in all 18 games for UAlbany in 2021, and recording 14 starts, DaSilva’s performance during the season contributed to the Great Danes’ 10 victories and postseason bid. His efforts were recognized with America East All-Conference Second Team and All-Championship Team honors.
A total of 14 America East student-athletes were named to the Northeast Region’s three teams.
