EL PASO, TEXAS – El Paso Locomotive FC returns to Derby del Camino Real action on Wednesday, May 6, traveling to Albuquerque, N.M., for a 7 p.m. MT showdown against New Mexico United at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park. Locomotive enters the rivalry matchup looking to bounce back in league play while carrying momentum from a dominant 4-0 victory over New Mexico in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup action earlier this season.

El Paso Locomotive FC fell 4-1 to FC Tulsa on April 29 at Southwest University Park, dropping their second straight league match. Down to 10 men after a Gabi Torres red card in the 11th minute, El Paso trailed 1-0 at halftime before Alex Méndez converted a 57th-minute penalty to level the match. Tulsa responded immediately with Rémi Cabral’s second goal of the night, then added two more through Nelson Pierre and Kalil ElMedkhar to secure the result. The loss marks a season-high four goals conceded in regular season play for Locomotive.
