Sidekicks Lose 4-11 to Empire Strykers

Allen, Texas – The Dallas Sidekicks took on the Empire Strykers for the first and final time this season.

The Strykers scored the first goal of the game with the goal by Justin Stinson in the first quarter. That was the quarter’s only goal, but the Strykers had six shots and the Sidekicks had five shots.


46 seconds into the second quarter, Sidekicks player, Flavio Guzman scored tying up the game. However, a minute later, the Strykers regained the lead with a goal by Marco Fabián. Five minutes later, Sidekicks player, Yahir Romero scored his first professional indoor goal. The game was then tied at 2. The Strykers regained the lead three minutes later with a goal by Randy Martinez. At the 11-minute mark, Flavio Guzman scored his second goal, tying up the game once again. The tied game was quickly demolished after the Strykers scored on the power play. Going into halftime, the score was 3-4.

The Strykers quickly pulled away scoring goals 11 seconds into the quarter and in the 1-minute mark with goals by Justin Stinson and Abdul Mansaray. At the two-minute mark, Sidekicks player, Moises Hernandez, scored his second goal of the season. Justin Stinson scored the next goal of the quarter in the seven-minute mark. At the end of the third quarter, the score was 4-7.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Strykers increased their lead even more with goals by Marco Fabián, Israel Sesay, Quenton Swift, and Abdul Mansaray. The final score of the game was 4-11.

The Sidekicks go on the road next Saturday as they take on the Milwaukee Wave for the second time this season. On Sunday, the Sidekicks are back at home when they take on the Texas Outlaws for the third time this season. Kick-off is at 3 PM. Score your tickets today by visiting dallassidekicks.com/tickets.
