Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly pestered Vinicius Junior for the last seven months, frequently asking the Brazilian not to renew his contract at Real Madrid.

Vinicius, 21, has two years left to run on his current deal at the Bernabeu, but his performances last season have led to interest from around Europe.

The forward contributed 22 goals and 20 assists in all competitions and scored the only goal of the game as Los Blancos defeated Liverpool in the Champions League final.

According to Marca, PSG have been in constant communication with Vinicius since November 2021 and have been urging him not to sign a new deal in Madrid.

It is claimed that the French side offered the forward an eye-watering £34.3million-a-year salary – a figure that Real Madrid would not be able to get anywhere close to – as well as a ‘generous bonus’ and ‘business opportunities in Qatar’.

However, Vinicius has reportedly always been keen to stay at the Bernabeu and is expected to sign a new contract until 2026 or 2027 worth around £8.6million per year.

Marca’s report adds that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been rebuffed by the 21-year-old in recent months.
