Liverpool have been linked with the Portugal U21 international in recent months.

But now Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal are in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Vieira.

The player has ‘accepted’ this transfer as he ‘dreams’ of playing in the Premier League.

Arsenal’s offer for Vieira is €35m guaranteed plus add-ons. Porto are ‘prepared to accept’ this offer even though their player has a €50m release clause in his current contract.

Romano adds that the ‘final details on payment terms’ are now going to be discussed.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Tottenham are both reportedly keen on Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano but his representatives claim that there has been “no concrete negotiation” for the player so far this summer.

Satriano joined Inter Milan from Uruguayan side Nacional in 2020 on a deal until June 2024 after the Italian club spotted his potential in the youth ranks.

The 21-year-old made four appearances for Inter this campaign, all from the bench. before being loaned out to Ligue 1 side Brest, where he scored four goals in 15 league matches.

The Daily Mail claimed a year ago that Arsenal and Tottenham were interested in Satriano with Everton and West Ham also in the hunt for the Uruguayan’s signature.

There have been reports that Satriano could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani, who Inter Milan are extremely interested in signing this summer.

However, Satriano’s representatives claim that there has been “no concrete negotiation” with Empoli over a possible part-exchange deal.

“Empoli greatly appreciate Satriano, but at the moment there is no concrete negotiation. There are many options for Satriano and the boy will decide with Inter when he returns from his holidays,” the striker’s agent told Calciomercato (via Sport Witness).
