CF Montréal Returns to MLS Action Saturday against Cincinnati

MONTREAL – It’s back to MLS action this Saturday night for CF Montréal as the Club hosts FC Cincinnati at 7:30pm at Stade Saputo (TVA Sports 2, 91.9 Sports, TSN690.ca).

This will be the Montrealers’ last game before the summer international break, which will put the team’s schedule on hold until Saturday, June 18 against Austin FC.

Montreal will be playing a fifth game in 15 days and will be looking to win a fourth game at Saputo Stadium this season.

Montreal advanced to the semifinals of the Canadian Championship on Wednesday night after defeating Forge FC 3-0 at Stade Saputo. The Club will now take on Toronto FC in the next round at BMO Field on Wednesday, June 22 at 7pm.

For the visitors, a club-record four-game winning streak came to an end last Saturday with a 3-2 loss at home to the New England Revolution.

Montreal remains undefeated in its last three contests against Cincinnati, including a 4-3 win on April 2. No less than 16 goals have been scored between the two teams in the last three meetings, including Montreal’s 5-4 victory on July 17, 2021 at Stade Saputo.
