AUSTRIAN THEORY (system – Awtaad 3yos, early-season on turf, recent run)

Three-year-old progeny of the sire Awtaad have a good record in early season (March to June) turf races, winning 18 of their 103 starts for a profit of £44.34 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those who had the benefit of a relatively recent outing (within eight weeks) were 15 from 64 for a profit of £70.18. AUSTRIAN THEORY shaped as though the extra furlong would suit when third in a 1m1f Listed race here on his reappearance 15 days ago and might be able to dominate his three rivals from the outset. He was a general 16-1 shot at the time of writing and that looks too big.

Progeny of the sire Power have a 22 from 136 record on Wolverhampton’s Tapeta surface for a profit of £101.60 to a £1 level stake at SP.
