Euro Paper Talk: Klopp lines up perfect Origi replacement as 15-goal LaLiga ace eyed by Liverpool; Arsenal target to make £17m Prem switch

Enes Unal Getafe

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is lining up a move for versatile Getafe forward Enes Unal as a replacement for Divock Origi, while Friday’s Euro Paper Talk claims that a top Arsenal midfield target is on his way to the Premier League this summer.

KLOPP TARGETS LALIGA STAR TO FILL ORIGI VOID

Fresh from signing his new Liverpool contract, Jurgen Klopp once again turned his attention to summer recruitment as he continues to freshen up his first-team squad.

Luis Diaz was brought in January to challenge the likes of Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino for a role in Liverpool‘s prolific three-man attack alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.

That move has already worked out well, with Diaz fitting into Klopp’s system perfectly.

However, with Anfield fan favourite Divock Origi leaving the club on a free this summer, Klopp is still looking for another attacker to bolster his squad.

And according to Fanatik, the Reds chief wants to bring in Getafe forward Enes Unal.

The 24-year-old Turkey international has scored has 15 goals in the current LaLiga season, attracting plenty of interest as a result.

The report adds that Klopp believes Unal is the perfect replacement for AC Milan bound Origi.

Unal making a name for himself in Spain

Unal, who began his career at Manchester City, joined Getafe from Villarreal in the summer of 2020.

His versatility across the frontline makes him an ideal fit for Liverpool’s rotation. However, it’s unclear whether the player will be happy to take on a bench role – having established himself as one of the top young talents in Spanish football.

Why there is no mention of a fee, Unal’s current contract runs out in 2025. That means Getafe can demand top dollar for a player they previously splashed out £9million for.
