Top Millwall star to disappoint Prem, Champ clubs with summer Turkish switch

Jed Wallace Millwall

A number of Premier League and Championship clubs have been told that Jed Wallace is set to move abroad this summer.

The Millwall midfield star is out-of-contract at the end of the season, and looks set to depart The Den – but it appears that he will not be staying in England and that a switch to Turkey is on the cards.

The Lions still have some hope that they could keep the 28-year-old, if they manage to claim promotion to the top-flight. However, at this point it is not in their hands.

As the moment we understand that Wallace is close to agreeing terms with giants Besiktas. However, we also understand that Konyaspor and Galatasaray also hold an interest in the former Wolves midfielder.

And we are told that English clubs looking at Wallace have been told that he is set to move abroad.

The winger has scored five times in 22 appearances for the Lions this season.

His overall career record is an impressive one, with 85 goals in 412 games, having made his league debut back in 2012 for Portsmouth.

Despite Wallace’s mind appearing to be made up, that could all change if Millwall win promotion to the Premier League.

Gary Rowett’s men are currently three points off the play-off spots with two games remaining. However, their inferior goal difference, compared to rivals around them, means breaking into the top six looks unlikely.
