CHESTER, Pa. – The Philadelphia Union tied CF Montreal 1-1 on Saturday afternoon at Subaru Park. With the draw, the Union remain unbeaten at home this season and, as of the end of the match, remain in first place in the Eastern Conference with 17 points. In the first half, the Union were awarded a penalty in the 21st minute that resulted in Julian Carranza’s third goal of the season. With the goal, Carranza now has the second most goals for the club. Montreal later equalized on a Kei Kamara goal from the center of the box in the 59th minute.

The Union are on the road at GEODIS Park on May 1st where they will play Nashville SC (4:00 p.m. ET / ESPN).
