A surprise club is threatening Manchester United’s pursuit of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and could use an inside man to win the transfer race, according to a report.
Milinkovic-Savic is one Lazio’s most important, and valuable, players. In 42 appearances this season, the central midfielder has notched nine goals and 11 assists.
He has also captained the Italian outfit in Serie A, the Europa League and the Coppa Italia.
However, Lazio face losing Milinkovic-Savic this summer. Manchester United are working on a deal to bring the Serbia international to the Premier League.
According to reports, it will take an offer worth £66million to tempt Lazio president Claudio Lotito into selling.
The Red Devils are willing to meet this and make Milinkovic-Savic one of Erik ten Hag’s first summer arrivals.

Interest also comes from Juventus, as the Old Lady are willing to include Nicolo Fagioli as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Milinkovic-Savic.
