Fresh off the back of their record-breaking win last weekend, Altético Ottawa face Valour FC (Winnipeg) this Sunday at 3pm at TD Place. This match is dedicated to the city’s First Responders and frontline workers, recognizing the monumental effort and tireless work they have put in, especially over the course of the past two pandemic years.
This is Ottawa’s last home game in their opening stretch, welcoming a Winnipeg side who are still hunting for their first win of the campaign. Atleti, on the other hand, have won back-to-back games for the first time in the club’s short history and are seeking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Atlético Ottawa currently sit in second place in the Canadain Premier League table, tied on points with Pacific FC.
After suffering three consecutive defeats against this weekend’s opponents, Ottawa ended their rut courtesy of a 2-0 win at TD Place last October.
Midfielder Ollie Basset has been named, back-to-back, in the CPL’s ‘Team of the Week’ after his stand-out performance against HFX Wanderers – four other Atleti players also made the TOTW.
This weekend the club is recognizing Ottawa’s First Responders and Frontline Workers with a special ticket offer available.
Ottawa native Matteo DeBrienne who, last year, played under Atleti’s Assitant Coach Kwesi Loney at Carleton University returns to the nation’s capital with Valour FC.
