TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 23 Tennessee soccer team is set to play at Alabama in a 7 p.m. ET match on Sunday. 

Tennessee (6-1-1) is coming off a 2-1 win over Ole Miss in its SEC-opener.

Kate Runyon and Sammi Woods were UT’s goal scorers as Ally Brown and Runyon also dished out assists.

Additionally, the Lady Vols have now gone unbeaten in seven consecutive matches and have allowed just two goals the entire season, boasting the third-best goals-against average nationally with a .250 mark.

MATCHUP HISTORY: Tennessee holds a 13-9-1 all-time record against Alabama, including a 6-5-0 record versus the Crimson Tide on the road.

BACKLINE BALLIN’: The Tennessee defense has allowed just 7.4 shots per game and is tied for fourth nationally with an .750 shutout percentage.

SAMMI’S SEC DEBUT: In her first Southeastern Conference match as a Lady Vol, Woods scored the game-winner to Woods in the 60th minute to secure the 2-1 victory over Ole Miss.

YEAH, KATE: During Tennessee’s conference-opening win over the Rebels, Runyon logged two goal contributions after scoring in the 22nd minute off an assist from Ally Brown and assisted on the game-winner from Woods.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON TIDE: Alabama is coming off a commanding 4-0 win over Louisiana Tech last week. The Tide ranks 10th nationally in both goals (26) and points (74), in addition to ranking 15th in goal differential and 21st in scoring offense (21 goals per game). On the defensive side of the ball, UA has held four teams to shutouts, including Louisiana Tech in the last outing
