No. 9 Penn State Hosts No. 5 Michigan State in Pivotal Nationally Televised Clash – Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – No. 9 Penn State women’s soccer prepares to host one of the marquee matchups of the 2024 season on Sunday, September 22, as the Nittany Lions welcome the fifth-ranked Michigan State Spartans to Jeffrey Field for a 2 p.m. (ET) fixture from Jeffrey Field. The match will air to a national television audience on the Big Ten Network, with streaming available to authenticated subscribers on the FOX Sports App.

FAN INFORMATION, PARKING & PROMOTIONS

With the start of construction projects benefitting all 800+ student-athletes at Penn State, notably the construction of the Jeffrey Field Soccer Complex at the south end of the facility, elements of the Jeffrey Field match day experience have changed. Due to construction, the grass area behind the south goal will not be accessible to spectators. Spectator entrances are located on either end of Jeffrey Field near the corner flags on the south side of the facility. Spectator parking is located in the Stadium West lot, with entrance to the lot located at the intersection of Park Avenue and Stadium West Drive. ADA accessibility is still available on either side of the facility. Spectators wishing to access the University Drive seating area should park in the Stadium West lot closest to the Bryce Jordan Center and walk down the sidewalk to the main entrance on the University Drive side of the facility. Penn State’s first top-10 matchup in Big Ten play of the 2024 season will serve as the program’s annual Wear White match, with fans encouraged to wear white to Jeffrey Field on Sunday to help generate one of the most intimidating atmospheres in all of women’s college soccer. The first 400 students in attendance for Sunday’s match will receive a custom Penn State women’s soccer Wear White t-shirt. Additionally, fans are encouraged to arrive early and visit the marketing table at the north entrance of Jeffrey Field to sign up for a chance to win a soccer ball signed by U.S. Women’s National Team veteran, retired NWSL athlete, Penn State alumna and current PSU trustee Ali Krieger.
