PUERTO RICO — Wake Forest men’s soccer junior Sidney Paris has been named to the latest Puerto Rican National Team roster before this week’s Concacaf Nations League matches against the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. He was one of 18 players named to the roster that will arrive on Monday, March 20.
Paris recently completed his first season in Winston-Salem, appearing in 19 matches for a Demon Deacons squad that earned a 12th-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He recorded four assists during the season – all of which came in victories – and logged nearly 400 minutes of action.
Prior to his time at Wake Forest, Paris was an All-Patriot League first-team selection in 2021 as he collected four goals and seven assists for the Naval Academy.
Alums Mark McKenzie (United States) and Alistair Johnston (Canada) were also named to their respective national team rosters for the latest slate of Concacaf National League play. Additionally, Machop Chol was selected to South Sudan’s roster for the Africa Cup of Nations.
