Manchester City have completed their fifth signing of the January transfer window, with the Premier League champions adding another defender to their ranks.

Pep Guardiola‘s side have strengthened heavily in the January window, notably bringing in Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush for £59million from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Man City have also brought in £33m centre back Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens and 18-year-old Brazilian defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras for £29.4million.

On Monday, Man City sealed the signing of another teenage defender in Juma Bah from Real Valladolid, amid claims from the LaLiga side the club had ‘supported and guided’ the 18-year-old into failing to turn up to training in a bid to force the move.

City deny the allegations, while Bah had paid the £5.1million minimum release fee clause to terminate his youth contract and seal the switch, money then reimbursed by the buying club.

Bah has moved on loan to Lens until the end of the season having completed a move to Man City.
