The January transfer window has reached its final week – and there are plenty of deals that could still be done.

Premier League clubs will be racing to do business as they look to strengthen their squads for the final months of the season.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are among the clubs who could be active as the clock ticks down to deadline day.

With the transfer window drawing to a close next Monday (February 3), Mail Sport highlights 12 players your clubs may trade.

Evan Ferguson (Brighton)

The striker has Tottenham, Bournemouth, Everton, Fulham, West Ham and Celtic all asking to take him on loan as he returns following an ankle knock. West Ham hold the upper hand with Graham Potter, his former Brighton manager, key to a decision.

Aleksander Isak (Newcastle Utd)

Arsenal have been pushing to sign the Swedish international widely regarded as the best all-round striker in the Premier League on current form. The £120m price tag is an obstacle but they are expected to keep trying until summer. 

Chelsea are alert to the situation as are Real Madrid. Both Arsenal and Newcastle have discussed internally the merits of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Lille’s Jonathan David.

Douglas Luiz (Juventus)

Manchester City, who are also speaking to Juventus about right back Andrea Cambiaso, are contemplating a loan for the midfielder. Chelsea asked but have cooled on cost while Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Fulham are in the wings.

Jhon Duran (Aston Villa)

Villa want £80m for a striker who predominantly plays off the bench. Al Nassr are trying where West Ham failed. PSG and Real Madrid consider him a back-up option. Villa still want to strengthen but have PSR concerns so may look to sacrifice Duran for the greater benefit of the squad.

James McAtee (Manchester City)

Wants to play so hopes City will consider allowing him out on loan or on a permanent with German champions Bayer Leverkusen having held talks while RB Leipzig, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Mainz have all discussed offers. Premier League interest is building too. Leverkusen have also asked about Villa’s Emiliano Buendia.
