CHICAGO – MLS NEXT Pro and Chicago Fire FC II today announced the Club’s 28-game schedule for the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. Chicago will open the season at home against Huntsville City FC at 3:00 p.m. CT. The match will be broadcast on MLSNEXTPro.com.
The exact location for Fire II home matches will be confirmed at a later date. For the third consecutive year, the majority of regular season matches – in addition to all Decision Day matches, playoff matches and MLS NEXT Pro Cup – will be available to watch live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Available in more than 100 countries and regions, MLS Season Pass can be viewed on billions of devices through the Apple TV app on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, game consoles, and online at tv.apple.com. The remainder of regular season matches will stream live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
Overall, Chicago Fire II’s regular season home schedule features 14 matches, including one game on Wednesday, one game on Thursday, three on Friday, one on Saturday and eight on Sunday. The Fire play most games at home in September, when they host three matches against Eastern Conference opposition. Chicago will have three two-game homestands during the season, hosting Huntsville (March 9) and Toronto FC II (March 13), and Orlando City B (May 2) and FC Cincinnati 2 (May 9) in the first half of the season. The third homestand takes place in September, when the Fire hosts FC Cincinnati 2 (Sept. 10) and New York City FC II (Sept. 14).
Chicago will play back-to-back road games four times during the regular season, traveling to face FC Cincinnati 2 (May 30) and New York Red Bulls II (April 6), then Huntsville (April 20) and Toronto FC II (April 25) in the first half of the season. In June, Chicago will travel to face Carolina Core (June 14) then head further south to face Inter Miami CF II (June 25). Lastly, Chicago will close out the summer with a road trip to New York Red Bulls II (Aug. 24) following immediately by a trip to take on New England Revolution 2 (Aug. 31).
Fire II remains in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference for the second year, along with Cincinnati, Columbus, New England, New York City FC, New York Red Bulls, Philadelphia and Toronto.
