Virginia/Saint Joseph’s Match to Kick Off at 3 p.m. Thursday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the Virginia men’s soccer matchup with Saint Joseph’s has been moved to 3 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 29). The match was originally scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.

Thursday night’s match will be streamed on ACCNX which is available through the ESPN app and at WatchESPN.com. for customers who have the ACC Network as part of their TV subscription. Ticket Information
Original tickets for Thursday’s game against Saint Joseph’s are valid for the new time. Fans that cannot make the new time because of the time change can contact the ticket office prior to 3 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 29) to exchange tickets for a future game. Ticket exchanges will not be provided after a rescheduled game has been completed.

Single game tickets are also on sale with general admission tickets starting at $8 and reserved seats starting at $12. Concessions will be available at Klöckner Stadium for all home games and a clear bag policy is in effect. Outside food and drink is not permitted.

  • The Cavaliers will face off with a new opponent for the second consecutive game when they match up with Saint Joseph’s
  • Saint Joseph’s comes off a loss 2-1 loss to Merrimack in its season opener (Aug. 22).
  • The Hawks posted a record of 4-11-2 in 2023 with a 2-4-2 in conference play

  • The Cavaliers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Colgate on Sunday (Aug. 25) despite outshooting the Raiders by a margin of 28-3
