PORTLAND, Ore. ‚ – Nashville Soccer Club fell 4-1 to the Portland Timbers at Providence Park Sunday night despite the team’s efforts in the second half that resulted in Sam Surridge’s eighth goal of the regular season for the Boys in Gold in the 82 nd minute.


Welcome back, Shaq: Shaq Moore returned to the Nashville SC lineup for the first time since June 1 st after representing the United States at Conmebol Copa América™. The defender collected an assist and logged 90 minutes plus 12 minutes of added time.

Clutch Canadian: The Boys in Gold were again without midfielder Jacob Shaffelburg who helped lead Canada to an appearance in the Conmebol Copa América™ semifinals versus Argentina this Tuesday when he scored a goal in the team’s quarterfinal victory over Venezuela last Friday.
