2024 USC Soccer Schedule Announced for Inaugural Big Ten Season

LOS ANGELES – The USC women’s soccer program announced its 2024 schedule today (June 6), as the Trojans embark upon their first campaign in the Big Ten this fall.
 
USC will also spend the 2024 season playing home games at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., while construction on the new Rawlinson Stadium is ongoing, with one of the seven home games (Oct. 17 vs. Ohio State) being played at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. Third-year Head Coach Jane Alukonis and the Trojans will play a preseason exhibition at Dignity Health against Long Beach State on Aug. 10 before opening the 2024 campaign on the road at New Mexico State on Aug. 15.
 
NONCONFERENCE SCHEDULE
 
With the exception of USC’s preseason exhibition against Long Beach State, all of the Trojans’ nonconference matchups will be on the road. USC has six regular season non-conference games on the schedule, with the highlight being a trip to Stanford on Sept. 8.
 
The Trojans open the season with a trip to New Mexico State (Aug. 15) before returning to Southern California to take on California Baptist (Aug. 18) and Pepperdine (Aug. 25). USC travels to Portland on Aug. 31 and then closes out the nonconference schedule with a trip to the Bay Area, facing San Francisco on Sept. 5 and long-time rivals Stanford on Sept. 8.
 
BIG TEN ROAD GAMES
 
The Trojans begin Big Ten play on the road, heading to Washington (Sept. 12 or 13 depending on TV selections) the opening week, before traveling to Purdue (Sept. 19) and Indiana (Sept. 22). After playing the next two weeks at home, USC makes one more trek to the Midwest, playing at Illinois (Oct. 10) and Northwestern (Oct. 13).
 
BIG TEN HOME GAMES
 
Six of the Trojans’ 11 conference matchups will be played at home, with USC’s Big Ten home opener coming on Sept. 26 against Minnesota at Dignity Health Sports Park. The Trojans will also host Wisconsin at Dignity Health later that week (Sept. 29) and then host Oregon (Oct. 5 or 6 depending on TV selections) in Carson the following week.
 
USC’s lone home game not at Dignity Health will be against Ohio State on Oct. 17 at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans close that week by hosting Penn State (Oct. 20) and then finish off regular season play with their traditional Crosstown Showdown against UCLA on either…
