After back-to-back home wins against Cascadia rivals, Whitecaps FC 2 and Tacoma, Timbers2 heads back out on the road with a trip to the Lone Star State to take on North Texas SC on Saturday at Choctaw Stadium. Kickoff is 5:30 p.m. (Pacific).

The Storyline
Timbers2 are winners of back-to-back wins, including a commanding 4-1 win over rival Tacoma in their last match – a performance that earned MLS NEXT Pro Team of the Week honors for Matchweek 10 . Over their last two matches, Timbers2 (3-3-3, 13pts) has outscored opponents 6-1, with goals coming from five different goalscorers.

The team will use that momentum Saturday when they face a North Texas side that sits fifth in the west (3-1-4, 16pts). North Texas just suffered its first loss of the season May 12 at Town FC.
