MONTREAL – CF Montréal announced Monday that striker Chinonso Offor has been loaned to Bulgarian first division club FC Arda Kardzhali, until the end of the 2024 season. The loan includes a permanent transfer option.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward was acquired by CF Montreal on August 5, 2022 from the Chicago Fire. In 30 regular-season games in 2023, Offor started 14 times for a total of 1,503 minutes, scoring four goals for the Bleu-blanc-noir.
Offor was acquired by the Fire in 2020 via a transfer from FK Rigas Futbola Skola, a first division club in Latvia. He began his professional career in 2019 with BFC Daugavpils, scoring 10 goals in 23 games.
Transaction: Chinonso Offor was loaned to FC Arda Kardzhali of the Bulgarian first division until the end of the 2024 season.
