Utah Soccer’s Schoennauer Named to Pac-12 All-Freshman Team

SAN FRANCISCO – Utah soccer’s freshman forward Kennedy Schoennauer was named to the Pac-12’s All-Freshman Team when the conference released its list of postseason honors on Tuesday.

Schoennauer finished her first year as a Ute with four assists, tied for the most on the roster, and she was also in the top five in points, shots and shots on goal. The California native logged her first collegiate point on Aug. 24 against Utah State, when she assisted on Taliana Kaufusi’s game-winning goal. Schoennauer added two more helpers in a home triumph over Utah Valley and added one more at Washington State on Oct. 22. Her first career goal came at the expense of Oregon State on Sept. 28.

Schoennauer is the first Ute to earn an all-freshman team nod since Taliana Kaufusi in 2020 and the program’s ninth all-freshman selection overall.
