SEATTLE – Washington and No. 14 Stanford battled to a one-all draw on Sunday afternoon at Husky Soccer Stadium.
UW moves to 5-5-5 overall on the season and 2-3-2 in conference play.
After both sides took shots back and forth in the first half with no goals, the Huskies broke through in the 44th minute.
The Huskies got a throw in from 18 yards out and Kalani Kossa-Rienzi sent it in to Gabe Threadgold outside the box who brought it in to Nate Jones whose header Bryan Iliohan to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. The goal is the fourth for Iliohan this season.

Stanford’s chance at the equalizer in the 74th minute was saved by Sam Fowler. He tallied four saves on the afternoon including three in the first half.

The Cardinal however got the equalizer in the 89th minute to level the match at one.
