Bayern Munich and Man Utd target Randal Kolo Muani reportedly ‘wants to leave’ Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.
Frankfurt signed the French striker from FC Nantes on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract last June.
Less than a year on, Kolo Muani is being valued at around £100million with several top clubs interested in buying him this summer. That must be a very bitter pill to swallow for Nantes.
The 24-year-old has been performing very well this season, providing 14 assists and scoring 19 goals in 38 matches across all competitions.
Rumours of a transfer have picked up in recent weeks with Frankfurt going through a dire spell in the Bundesliga.
There are concerns they will not be able to offer Kolo Muani Champions League football with a run of six games without a win slipping Frankfurt down to seventh in the league, seven points off the top four.
Even if Frankfurt fail to qualify for the Champions League, they are not expected to be any more willing to offload their star man.

Kolo Muani is appreciated by Bayern Munich and transfer expert Florian Plettenberg has claimed the player is ‘keen to leave Frankfurt in the summer’.
If he is to be sold, Frankfurt will ask for ‘at least €100m’ after informing Bayern ‘€70-80m definitely won’t be enough’.
Previous Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann was apparently not interested in signing the 24-year-old, but with Thomas Tuchel now at the helm the ‘situation has changed’.
Kolo Muani does not have a release clause, but Frankfurt are in a strong position given the fact he is under contract until 2027.
Even if they miss out on Champions League football, the Europa League holders will want to keep hold of the former Nantes striker and sporting director Markus Krosche is expected to be a ‘tough negotiator’.
It is noted that he has a ‘low salary’ which could further impact Kolo Muani’s desire to leave.
Bayern are expected to sign a new striker in the summer and have also been linked with Tottenham’s Harry Kane, though Plettenberg says Kolo Muani is ‘more realistic’ and the England captain is ‘not a hot topic’ in Munich at this moment in time.
There have been lots of reports that Man Utd are willing to pay £105m to land Kolo Muani this summer.
