Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed Everton’s asking price for Amadou Onana amid reports linking the centre-midfielder with Arsenal and Chelsea.
Onana signed for Everton during the summer transfer window last year. It initially looked likely that he would join West Ham but the Toffees ended up beating their rivals to sign the midfielder.
The Belgium international has been one of Everton’s standout players this term amid their struggles in the Premier League.
Everton are currently level on points with 18th-placed Bournemouth and their goal difference is keeping them out of the relegation zone.
Sean Dyche’s side will have to stay up to have any chance of keeping Onana this summer. Speaking last month, when asked where he sees himself in five years, the Everton star admitted that he wants to play for “one of the biggest clubs” in the world.
“I see myself having had a lot of life experiences, which will have made me learn a lot about human beings in general, as well as about myself.
“I see myself, God willing, at one of the biggest clubs recognised worldwide.”
When asked if he thought his deal to join Everton would go through, he added: “Yes and no. I don’t have a crystal ball that tells me what will happen to me in the future.
“But by my will and my objectives, it is a logical continuation.
“I could very well have stayed in Lille for one more season, but it’s always a question of timing. At that time, I was ready to take a leap on a personal level, and that’s why I made this decision to go to Everton.”

Earlier this week it was indicated that a summer transfer is ‘almost certain’ and Romano claims his price tag ‘would be close to £55-60m’.
‘Everton midfielder Amadou Onana is attracting interest again as some fans ask me about reports mentioning both Chelsea and Arsenal,’ Romano wrote for Caught Offside.
‘He was on Chelsea’s list in January, but I’m not sure yet if it’s something concrete for them in the summer.
‘Arsenal have different names in the list at this stage. I think his price tag would be close to £55-60m.’
Romano has also confirmed that Arsenal are in talks to tie Reiss Nelson down to a new contract before his current deal expires in June.
‘I understand negotiations are…
