PSG ‘prepared’ to sell Liverpool target as the Reds ‘make move’ for record-breaking forward

Liverpool target Renato Sanches plays a pass

Liverpool are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Reds have underperformed this season with Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sixth in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham but with two games in hand.

Their poor form this season has been made more remarkable after going so close last campaign to an unprecedented Quadruple with Manchester City eventually beating them to the Premier League title and Real Madrid edging them out in the Champions League final.

And it remains to be seen how much backing Liverpool boss Klopp will get in the summer with owners Fenway Sports Group openly looking for investment in the club.
