According to the latest reports, Crystal Palace are now seriously considering parting ways with Patrick Vieira after a poor run of results.

Vieira’s side are without a win in their last 11 Premier League matches which is the longest winless run in the league right now.

Brighton managed to get the better of them in midweek and that result could have been the final nail in the coffin for Vieira.

Crystal Palace do sit 12th in the league table, but they are now just three points above the relegation zone.

The Guardian have reported that chairman Steve Parish is now ‘seriously considering’ sacking the manager after the poor run of results.

The report goes on to explain that Parish has been ‘deeply unimpressed’ by performances in recent weeks and that they are already considering his alternatives.

Former Crystal Place forward Clinton Morrison recognises the pressure that Vieira is now under because of the winless run.

Crystal Palace have averaged one point per game so far this season and are currently projected to finish the season with 38 points.

For context, that point tally would have seen them finish 17th last season and would have just about seen them survive.

Despite the poor run of results, Vieira himself has tried to find the positives in their performances of late.

“I think we defended well and managed to win the ball in some really important parts of the field, but what let us down was our offensive play,” Vieira told the club website following their latest defeat.

“Not taking the opportunities we created let us down today.

“The difference between the two teams was that they had one shot and managed to score. We had a lot of opportunities, we had chances, but we didn’t score. This was the issue for us.

“It’s not about showing more positivity, it’s about showing the ingredients you need to compete and to win football matches. The players worked hard and worked well and we had those opportunities.

“The difference between…
