Manchester City will look to to get the job done at Brighton ahead of their two back-to-back matches against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Man City come into the match in fine form, having gone unbeaten in their last 12 WSL games, with their last loss all the way back in September, a 4-3 thriller against Aston Villa.
City are just three points off the top of the league, sitting in third behind league-leaders Manchester United, and Chelsea, who have a game in hand.
Brighton on the other hand have failed to win a WSL match since November, and sit 11th in the table, two points above Leicester City in the relegation zone.
When is kick off? Sunday 12 March, 14:00 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? Broadfield Stadium
TV channel/live stream? FA Player (UK & international)
Referee? Yoshimi Yamashita
Interim manager Amy Merricks did not disclose any fresh injury concerns for the Seagulls ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
Gareth Taylor has confirmed that Hayley Raso and Alanna Kennedy are nearing returns to the fold, though will not be available for Sunday’s trip south.
However, Esme Morgan and Kerstin Casparij could return to the starting lineup following their own spells on the sidelines, with both being among the substitutes in last week’s win against Tottenham.
Manchester City are bidding for their first WSL title under Taylor, and will want to pick up as many points possible before facing both of their main title rivals, with a visit to Old Trafford set for the second last matchweek of the season. To remain in contention for the title, City will need to pick up points against the teams in the bottom half of the table.
History is also on City’s side, with their record of 4.6 goals per game against the Seagulls is the highest any team has against another in WSL history, for those that have played against each other more than five times in the competition.
Prediction: Brighton 1-3 Man City
