Chelsea star could still leave the club despite January window closing

Exclusive: Chelsea star was a Man United transfer target in the summer but Arsenal have another priority

Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic could still leave the club despite the January transfer window closing.

Pulisic has never nailed down a regular starting spot in the Chelsea side since making the switch from Germany. Since Todd Boehly has bought the club he’s spent hundreds of millions improving the playing squad resulting in Pulisic being pushed further and further down the pecking order.

With Mykhaylo Mudryk, Joao Felix, and Noni Madueke brought in during the January window, and Raheem Sterling signed last summer, Pulisic is going to find minutes hard to come by.

Now, according to Fanatik, Galatasaray are plotting a move to sign Pulisic. The Premier League transfer window closed at the end of January, but Turkish clubs can still sign players until the 8th of February.

A move away from the club is probably best for all parties involved. Chelsea won’t exactly need Pulisic in this moment and he’s going to struggle to play regularly and continue to develop as a footballer.

With most of Chelsea’s new signings being under the age of 23, they’re only going to get better and keep Pulisic out of the team.
