January 25, 2023 – United Soccer League One (USL1) – North Carolina FC News Release
CARY, N.C. – North Carolina FC has announced the club’s 2023 preseason schedule, in preparation for the 2023 USL League One regular season. The club will play in seven preseason exhibition matches against clubs from four different leagues, all taking place at WakeMed Soccer Park.
NCFC will open the preseason in a closed-door exhibition against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday, February 11. The following Saturday, the club will host USL League One newcomers One Knoxville SC in a closed-door friendly.
Following the match against One Knoxville SC on February 18, the remaining matches will be open to the public. All matches that are open to the public will be general admission, with no ticket required for entry.
NCFC hosts USL Championship clubs Charleston Battery and Loudoun United, MLS Next Pro clubs New York City FC II and Columbus Crew 2, and USL League One club Charlotte Independence.
