Women’s Soccer Recruiting Class Tabbed No. 6 Overall


DURHAM – The Duke women’s soccer 2023 recruiting class has been tabbed No. 6 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer, which was released recently.  

The Blue Devil class features seven incoming freshmen – Cameron Roller (No. 5), Mia Minestrella (No. 14), Kiera Clemens (No. 23), Phoebe Goldthwaite (No. 33), Madison Foxhoven (No. 186), Sam Bodensteiner and Kaeden Koons-Perdikis.  

The class also includes goalkeeper Leah Freeman, who is a transfer from Oregon. Freeman was rated as the No. 21 overall player in the nation this past season by TopDrawerSoccer.com and the No. 2 goalkeeper.  

In the recruiting rankings, North Carolina, Stanford, Florida State, Virginia, Notre Dame and Duke, UCLA, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Maryland round out the top-10 teams.  

Duke head coach Robbie Church has brought in top-10 recruiting classes in nine out of the last 10 seasons with the Blue Devils.
