Crystal Palace do NOT plan on losing both Michael Olise and upcoming free agent Wilfried Zaha this summer – with Patrick Vieira keen to keep the French youngster as a star for the future

Crystal Palace will not entertain losing both Wilfried Zaha and Michael Olise during the summer transfer window.

Olise added to his growing reputation as one of the brightest talents in English football on Wednesday night with a brilliant stoppage time free-kick to rescue a point for his team against Manchester United.

The France Under 21 international is already on the radar of European clubs; Paris Saint-Germain hold a genuine interest in the 21-year-old.

Olise is also attracting interest from the Premier League ahead of this summer’s transfer window, Arsenal among the clubs monitoring his progress.

But with talisman Zaha set to leave Selhurst Park when his contract expires at the end of the season, Palace are not prepared to lose another one of their main attacking threats in the same window.

Palace have made a formal contract extension to Zaha but an agreement is yet to be found.

The Ivory Coast international is now permitted to speak to foreign clubs about a potential free transfer move ahead of next season.

But while there are major fears at Palace that Zaha’s time at the club is drawing to a close, there remains a semblance of hope that he can be persuaded to stay.

Either way, Zaha’s decision is set to have a bearing on Olise’s future as rival clubs circle.

Palace are understood to have reached an agreement with Olise last year to remove a £35million buy-out clause from his deal, meaning the club are not contractually obliged to accept a bid if it matches the release fee.

Meanwhile, Olise remains on England’s radar despite the forward’s two caps for France U21.
