SEATTLE – Senior Lucas Meek was named the Pac-12 Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Meek earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Information Systems) in Autumn 2021 and is currently doing post-bacc studies. This is the second year in a row a Husky has won this award after Dylan Teves was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2021.

On the pitch, Meek leads the Pac-12 with 28 points, while second with 10 goals scored. He also ranks fourth with eight assists. Meek earned his third career conference postseason honor after being named All-Conference First Team this season.

Meek was twice named National Player of the Week by TopDrawerSoccer on Sept. 27 and College Soccer News on Oct. 10.

In addition, Meek was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team last week and is a candidate for CSC Academic All-America.
