Man Utd owners to explore sale as Glazer family consider investment options

The Glazer family could look to sell Manchester United as they consider welcoming outsider investment.

United fans have never warmed to the Glazers ever since they took control of the club back in 2005.

17 years after said takeover, United supporters continue to protest against their ownership, but this chapter in the club’s history could be coming to an end.

Sky News report that the Glazers will imminently announce plans to source outsider investment, and that a full sale of the club is an option to them.

The Glazers are currently being advised by investment bankers and an official statement could be released soon. The Athletic have since added that the Glazers have ordered banks to handle a sale.
