Can you name every player to score a hat-trick for England since 1990?

Only 11 different players have registered a hat-trick for England since 1990 – but can you name them all?

Two players have scored more than one treble in that time, and while you shouldn’t struggle to remember most of them, a couple of the earlier hat-tricks might test your brainpower.

We’ve listed only the years each one was scored to make your life slightly more difficult and have given you 10 minutes to get them all.

England are being tipped as one of the favourites heading into the 2022 World Cup and perhaps a few more hat-tricks will be scored in Qatar.

Three Lions captain Harry Kane can’t wait to get going, “It’s exciting [to be here],” speaking as his side exited the Hamad International Airport.

“Obviously it’s strange knowing we’re going to be playing in around five, six days. But the excitement’s building amongst everyone really.

“Everyone’s happy to be here and looking forward to getting out on the training pitch tomorrow.”

Kane managed to win the Golden Boot in 2018 and we wouldn’t be surprised if he manages to grab another one in this tournament.

“Russia was one of the best moments in my career. I really enjoyed the whole experience. It was gutting to fall just a little bit short of course, but this is another opportunity for us.”

“We’ve been trending well in major tournaments. There’s only one more step to take and we hope we can take this one.”

“We try not to think about it [winning] this far ahead.

“That’s the dream, what we’re aiming to do. We’ll have to wait and see, it’s going to be a really tough tournament.
