Here’s everything you need to know about purchasing tickets for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Individual match tickets for games at the 2022 World Cup are divided into four categories which determine the price. Accessibility tickets are also available.
All tickets are sold in Qatari riyal, while Category 4 tickets are reserved exclusively for Qatari residents.

How can I apply for tickets?
Fans can purchase tickets for the World Cup via the official FIFA website. The opening sales phase closed back in March during which over 800,000 tickets were sold.
The second phase of ticket purchasing has also since opened and closed, with supporters having one final chance to buy tickets for the World Cup via the Last Minute Sales Phase.
These tickets will be available right up until the end of the tournament, but supporters will be subject to lengthy queues when attempting to purchase due to the demand.
When did World Cup tickets go on sale?
Sales Phase 1 started on 19 January 2022 and ended on 29 March. Sales Phase 2 opened with a Random Selection Draw on 5 April and closed on 28 April. This was then followed by a First Come First Served sales period that started on 5 July and finished on 16 August.
We’ve now entered the Last Minute Sales Phase, which started on 27 September. During this sales period, tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
As expected, 2022 World Cup final tickets do not come cheap.
