Last Time Out
The Gamecocks fell to No. 20 Arkansas on Sunday, 0-1. The loss marks the second of the season, with both losses coming in conference play.
After three fouls and a yellow card on the Razorbacks, Ava Tankersley was able to find an opening in the back right corner of the net to put Arkansas up 1-0 on the Gamecocks in the 32nd minute of play.
Despite putting up five more shots in the second half and ending the game with an 8-5 advantage, the Gamecocks were unable to bounce back.
Scouting the Gators
Florida heads into the match most recently falling to Georgia 0-3 on Sunday. The match against the Gators will be the 34th in program history, with Florida leading the series 22-11-2, but the Gamecocks have led the last 10 matchups 7-2-1. Florida is under the direction of new head coach Samantha Bohon, who joins the Gators after 15 seasons with Embry-Riddle women’s soccer program.

For fans attending Thursday’s game, student entry can be made through the Whaley Street gates. All others (media, season ticket holders, walk-ups) can enter through the Heyward Street gate. Parking is free within the Athletic Village Garage.
