It is being reported that Tottenham Hotspur are ‘considering a surprise move’ for Leeds United winger Dan James as a replacement for Bryan Gil.
The pinch of salt klaxon has sounded this morning as Spurs are said to be interested in signing James from Premier League rivals Leeds United.
The ex-Manchester United winger moved to Leeds last summer for a fee in the region of £25m.

James was often used as a striker last season with Patrick Bamford frequently being unavailable due to injury.
The Welshman has good attributes, with his pace being his most dangerous asset. But his lack of final product has often led to him being criticised.
