Roy Keane and Gary Neville claim that Man Utd are showing desperation in the signing of Casemiro from Real Madrid.
The deal to sign the Brazilian is set to cost the club £160m over the five-year duration of his contract at Old Trafford after Man Utd announced they had come to an agreement with Real Madrid last week.
Casemiro is at Old Trafford tonight to see Erik ten Hag’s side in the flesh versus arch-rivals Liverpool and is expected to be available for their next match against Southampton at the weekend.

When asked what message Man Utd are sending by signing a 30-year-old on such a long and lucrative contract, Keane added: “They’re desperate, they’re desperate. But I think he is a quality player.
“You could look at the bigger picture and go ‘it’s obviously a lot money, again a long contract, a bit like [Christian] Eriksen getting a three-year deal’ but when you’re desperate you’ve got to pay over the odds, I suppose.
Neville was asked if he agreed, to which he responded: “Yeah, that’s why sometimes now I don’t get as excited as I should as a United fan about the signings that come in because I know they aren’t actually part of the strategy at the start of the summer.
“Every other club is really…
