Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly told Chelsea that he wants to leave the club this summer in search of regular first team football.
The academy graduate started just 11 Premier League games last term due to a combination of Thomas Tuchel’s rotation of his forward players and an Achilles injury which kept him out from March.

Tuchel claimed in October that the 21-year-old required some “tough love” to keep progressing, having too frequently looked as though he is about to catch fire at Chelsea only to suffer a dip in form.
“He needs that tough love. These guys who are so full of quality hear sometimes a bit too often how good they are, but you need to prove it, to show it,” Tuchel said.
“For the offensive guys it is easy – just read statistics and deliver assists and goals. This is what he does and what he needs to show.

As reported in the Gossip on Friday, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was hoping Hudson-Odoi could be used as part of a deal for their top centre-back target.
But Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers remains insistent that Wesley Fofana is not for sale, and if Chelsea were to offer an exorbitant amount they couldn’t refuse, Hudson-Odoi would not be part of the deal.
Hudson-Odoi – who didn’t even make the bench as Chelsea started the season with a 1-0 win over Everton on Saturday – made it clear that he wants to be playing “regular football” this season in an interview with Chelsea’s official website last month.
“I want to be playing as much as possible,’ he said. ‘Regular football brings out the consistency…
