Leeds have reportedly received an offer from an unnamed club – that is not Barcelona – worth €55m plus €15m in add-ons for Raphinha.
This transfer saga has taken many twists and turns – this week alone – with Barcelona, Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all interested.
Now Chelsea are making ‘last-ditch phone calls’ just 70 days before window closes
Raphinha is not short of options after scoring 11 Premier League goals for Leeds last season as his side narrowly avoided relegation.
The La Liga club had hoped for the Whites to go down so they could secure the signing of the Brazilian winger for around £30m.
Thankfully for the Premier League side, they avoided the drop and are now looking for a £65m for their star player, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Arsenal are believed to be the only club to have made an official offer for Raphinha, however. The offer in question was swiftly rejected by Leeds for being way below their asking price.
And now there are rumours that Leeds have received a fresh bid, this time from an unnamed club.
Mundo Deportivo reporter Gabriel Sans told his Twitter followers on Thursday that a club has offered ‘€55m (£47.2m) plus €15m (£12.8m) in variables’ for the 25-year-old Brazilian.
He did not name what team placed the bid, but did rule out Barcelona, who are struggling financially.
Replying to Sans, fellow journalist Pol Alonso replied, translated from Spanish: “It’s Arsenal”.
Es del Arsenal😅

Should Leeds sell Raphinha this summer, they have identified PSV’s Cody Gakpo as a potential replacement, according to Foot Mercato. They are also reportedly interested in Club Brugge forward Charles De Ketelaere.
Gakpo was excellent for the Eredisivie outfit in the 2021/22 campaign, scoring 21 and assisting 15 in 46 appearances across all competitions.
PSV have set an asking price of €30m and Leeds ‘will have no trouble paying’ for the 23-year-old.
