According to reports, Arsenal have ‘restarted negotiations’ with Juventus over the signing of their midfielder Arthur.
The Gunners were linked with the midfielder back in January. They attempted to bring him in on loan.
They failed to sign him but it was revealed back in March that they were ‘ready to try again’.

Arthur previously spent two years at FC Barcelona between 2018 and 2020. Juventus paid £60m plus add-ons to sign him ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
The Brazilian has been a bit-part player for the Italian giants over the past couple of years. He has only started eleven times in Serie A this term.
Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that Arsenal have ‘restarted negotiations’ for the midfielder.
It is stated that the Gunners are ‘ready to improve’ the offer they made to sign Arthur in January. Juventus were not happy with Arsenal’s loan proposal earlier this year.
The report adds that Arthur has a ‘market valuation of around €20-30m’ ahead of this summer’s window.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are ready to lose a huge chunk of money on Nicolas Pepe after Mikel Arteta decides he isn’t part of his plans, according to reports.
The Ivory Coast international joined the Gunners in 2019 for a club-record fee of £72m after Pepe had bagged 23 goals in just 42 matches for the French club.
Although he has gone through spells of playing well, Pepe has never lived up to expectations at Arsenal with the 26-year-old scoring 27 goals in 111 matches in all competitions.
There has been speculation in recent months that he will leave the Emirates Stadium in the summer with Football.London yesterday claiming that Pepe had ‘hired a new agent’ to force through a move in the next window.
With Pepe only starting five Premier League matches this term he has decided to leave and has ‘instructed his agent to find him a new club’.
