Manchester City moved clear in the title race with a 5-0 home win over Newcastle United on Sunday after Liverpool had been held to a 1-1 home draw with fifth-placed Tottenham. The Gunners can finish as high as third but will be focused on the top four, with a midweek North London derby with Tottenham next up.

Down the wrong end, Leeds United loss to Arsenal left them in the drop zone, with Everton winning 2-1 at Leicester City to move up to 16th. Burnley were beaten 3-1 at home by Aston Villa. Watford and Norwich City are already relegated, with the Hornets 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace confirming that.
