John McGinn has given a rousing endorsement of Aston Villa loanee Philippe Coutinho amid the club’s attempts to secure a permanent deal.

Villa’s form has been up and down for much of this season. Indeed, when Steven Gerrard took charge, things appeared to change for the better.
